2. Google Maps
Google Maps for mobile is a free download that lets you view maps and satellite imagery, find local businesses, and get driving directions on your mobile device. Since the application is designed for users on-the-go, it provides features like click-to-call and saved search history that are especially useful for mobile phone users. Maps for mobile works with most Java-enabled (J2ME) mobile phones offered by Cingular and Sprint, and all color BlackBerry devices regardless of carrier. At this time, Local for mobile doesn’t work with Nextel, T-Mobile or BREW-enabled phones (Verizon, Alltel, U.S. Cellular), or Palm devices.
Version 1.2 may include unspecified updates, enhancements, or bug fixes.
3. Mobile Web Server (beta)
Mobile Web Server is an application that gives you access to your mobile device’s personal information using a web browser. 4. Conversation (beta)
Conversation is a messaging application that allows you to follow your conversations, organized by individual contact. In addition, the application provides an easy way to reply to messages, and continue the conversations. After installation, the application will appear in your device as an application shortcut, and as a new tab in your Contacts application.
First, install Nokia Internet Services Support Package (download here ») to the device memory (not to the memory card). Note! If you have Gizmo or Windows Live already installed, you don’t need to install this support package.
Second, install the compatible version of Conversation application

5. Gizmo for S60 (beta)
Enjoy easy instant messaging and inexpensive calls – both Internet call & call out – enriched with presence. Install the Gizmo client on your device to start using instant messaging (IM), presence and Internet calls. After installing the application you are able to create an account or use the existing Gizmo username and password. With a WLAN connection you are able to use all the features, and IM and presence are available even when you are connected over 2G or 3G.

Installation instructions
Download the files below to your computer and perform the installation using PC Suite. You have to install two separate packets in the following order. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Important note! If you have previous version of Gizmo or Nokia Contact Services Support Package installed, please remove them manually before installing new versions.
Firstly, install Nokia Internet Services Support Package to the device memory (not to the memory card).
Secondly, install Gizmo to the device memory (not to the memory card)
Versions
Gizmo v.1.1.008 for N80 Internet Edition, N73 and N73 Music Edition. Works but not fully tested on: N91.
Gizmo v.1.1.008 for N81, N95, E51 and E90. Works but not fully tested on: N76 (no VoIP support), 6110 Navigator (no VoIP), 6290 (no VoIP), 6120 (no VoIP), 5700 XpressMusic (no VoIP).

7. MOSH
MOSH is a Nokia service which provides a user-driven distribution channel for applications and other content created for mobile devices. It enables you to create, upload and share your applications, games, audio, images, and video instantaneously. Or you can just take it easy and enjoy what other people have decided to upload and share.
8. Device Manager
Nokia Device Status is a self-diagnosis tool that allows you to collect detailed system information both from your PC and your S60 device. Your current device configuration and phone settings are presented in a detailed summary, which you can use to determine the exact cause of problems if you run into them.
With Nokia Device Status, you can save all collected information to a file, and you can then send the file to customer care services for closer inspection and analysis.
The data collected from your PC includes:
- Operating system
- Language of the operating system vs. that of Nokia PC Suite
- Version of Nokia PC Suite currently installed on your PC
- Drivers required to connect your phone to your PC
- Local time zone
- Log files created by Nokia PC Suite
- Regional and language settings
The data collected from your phone includes:
- Device model
- IMEI code of the phone
- Device memory and any available memory card
- Profiles and themes used on the phone
- Locations used to store data on the phone
After installation, you can access the application from both your phone and PC.

Location memory. Mobile search stores your most recently searched locations, making it faster and easier to get the information you’re looking for the next time you search.
10. Activity Monitor
The Nokia Activity Monitor displays charts and statistics, in real-time, about your movements while walking or running. It counts the number of steps, and determines the distance covered and the energy expenditure. Summaries are stored in a diary so that you can compare your activity level on different days, and over longer periods of time. Your steps are detected by analysing the output from the accelerometer in an S60 smart phone. It is most accurate when you attach the phone to your belt, or upper arm, and it also works well if carry your phone in a pocket of your clothing. It might underestimate the number of steps if you keep the phone in a bag that you hold in your hand (as opposed to over your shoulder), and the most difficult case is when you hold the phone in your hand. Inevitably, false steps are detected sometimes, for example when you are cycling or driving.
The Activity Monitor currently runs on the N95, N95 8GB, and N82. You must have a memory card in your phone for the application to work. Be aware that the Activity Monitor’s use of the accelerometer requires a fair amount of battery power. It does not shut down gracefully when the voltage drops, so keep an eye on the battery indicator during the day, and don’t forget to stop the Activity Monitor before you go to bed! 12. Y-Browser
Y-Browser is a free filemanager application designed for S60 3rd edition Symbian smartphones. All testing is done with Nokia S60 devices only, but it should work as well with other manufacturers S60 smartphones.
Currently Y-Browser only supports 3rd edition S60 mobile phones. No plans to support for earlier edition S60 or UIQ mobile phones are planned.
13. Mem Check
It shows you RAM, Free/Max volume of C:\ and E:\
Note that you have to sign it by yourself because it´s unsigned.
14.Neo Boot
NeoReboot is a small tool for reboot your phone in the fast and save way. The benefit are not only the phone will be rebooted faster than switch off and then switch on method but it also consume less battery.
